My deposit is in!

So, I just decided to start blogging my experiences related to my trip to South Africa. I've turned my deposit in, so it looks like I'm going! I'll be gone for most of June and part of July. I'm excited and nervous... I know I will have fun, but there are still some things I'm worried about.

• I am not a fan of airports, especially in foreign countries.
• I don't want to chicken out of anything.
• I'm going to miss my friends and family. This is a big one because I am not going with any family members. That's scary! I know I'll probably be just fine (for the most part-- I know I will have my off days) but right now I'm worried. I'm a pretty independent girl so this shouldn't be too painful...

I guess that's all... that's not so bad. Nothing I can't handle. AAH!
This is going to be a grand adventure!
